To whom it may concern:
Ernie and LA Tile Works has renovated two bathrooms for me and modified my backyard
planter. Ernie and his crew are diligent and do not disappear after the work is started.
He is detailed oriented and keeps the work area clean. The work is of high quality and
the results are great. The price is reasonable, and I will be calling on them for future
jobs.
Sincerely,
Linda Hwa
One year ago we had LA Tile Works do quite a bit of tile work with which we were very
satisfied. They did our kitchen counter tops and tile floor. They also did a shower which
turned out beautifully and tile floor in that bathroom and a tile floor in the other bath-
room. We have been very pleased with the work that was done. If thereʼs anything wrong, they
stand by their work. The work was finished promptly and on the schedule they pro-
posed.
We highly recommend LA Tile Works.
Sincerely,
Marge and Bob Mayer
To Whom it May Concern:
Over the past year, I have had the pleasure of working with Ernie Valdes of LA
Tile Works. I personally interviewed and hired Ernie for a large restoration project in Los
Feliz. The project is a Spanish Mission Revival house built in 1930 and it has several
original bathrooms that have undergone careful and historically accurate Tile restora-
tion. From the beginning, Ernie Valdes took special attention to understand the needs and
challenges of the project. He approached every detailed task with careful thought and
consideration. In addition, Ernie is competent and thorough in his ability to meet the job
requirements and to complete the job on time. It is apparent that Ernieʼs professional experience translates to high quality results and therefore I will continue to work with him and I highly recommend him for your project.
If you have any further questions, please contact me at your convenience.

To: Whom it may concern:
Ernie from LA Tile Works has completed one large commercial shower tile job and one
residential shower tile job for our management company. On both jobs his experience
showed through as quality work was performed at a reasonable price. Any additional
unforeseeable costs were discussed with us before any additional work was completed.
I would recommend LA Tile Works for any small or large tile job. They are reliable and
the value you get from their work cannot be beat.

To Whom It May Concern:
In 2006, Ernie Valdes, LA Tile Works, installed a new tile floor in the lobby of our building.
To accomplish this job, we set up an appointment at the supplier of the tile so that he
could transport the tile to the job site. He was on time for our appointment and loaded
and delivered the tile as requested. He then installed the tile in a very professional manner in a design pattern selected by
the homeowners. He finished the job in a timely manner, which included the setting,
grouting and sealing of the tile. All members of the Board of Directors and homeowners are quite satisfied with the work
that was done.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the undersigned.

To Whom It May Concern:
During the summer of “06”, we added a large porch and upstairs deck to the house here
at Visscher Pl. The idea was to cover a concrete patio just adjacent to the back of the
house and have that do double duty by becoming a deck from the point of view of the
second story, opening out an upstairs bedroom that was otherwise cramped and
gloomy. I contracted with Ernie Valdes for the tiling of the downstairs porch, the upstairs deck,
and the floor of the rehabilitated bedroom. I knew Ernie already as he had earlier beauti-
fully tiled an upstairs shower adjacent to that same bedroom. The areas involved were
significant: about 400 sq.ft. for the downstairs and another 635 sq.ft. upstairs.
Ernie served as a full service contractor with several key plus ups along the way. First
he led me to a tile retailer who was successful at getting me just the slate I was looking
for. He arranged for the retailer to provide very good pricing and pass those prices di-
rectly through to me. The job itself was performed on-time and on-budget without any of
the usual contractor ʻdisappearancesʼ once the job commenced. When problems arose,
Ernie was there to find creative solutions around them. And when I had to negotiate ef-
fort beyond the original contract, Ernie was reasonable in pricing these.
The jobs themselves – upstairs, downstairs, and the original shower – were all per-
formed with the highest level of craftsmanship and attention to detail. The final results
are all beautiful.
Finally, to finish the job, we needed an upstairs wrought iron railing to be custom made.
Ernie came up with the right contractor to do that job as well.
Hire this guy!
Sincerely,
Dave Curkendall
